And yes, big city people, I"m whining. I chose a small town because of things like nasty traffic.
@reneehulshof you live in a college town! Isn’t student traffic expected? I think this may be as much an urban planing problem as anything.

@eyokley@reneehulshof it's definitely gotten much worse in recent years with explosive university growth. wasn't sad to leave it -
.
@dankleinsorge@reneehulshof I just have a hard time w/ the notion that the leading edu institution in our state is growing is a bad thing. -
@eyokley@reneehulshof not saying it is but traffic is still a pain and a surprise every August for people that live there full time. -
@dankleinsorge@eyokley The traffic getting WORSE is what the surprise is. and that the U has no part in the growth conversation is a prob. -
@reneehulshof@dankleinsorge they definitely should have a part in the convo because they're a huge contributor to it. -
@eyokley@dankleinsorge ask the city how often they are willing to sit down and be part of the sewer, water, trash, roads conversation.. -
@reneehulshof@eyokley That we think about it as "roads" conversation is part of problem. It's a transit, walkable density, parking issue. -
