I saw on nextdoor another person was talking about stats. Why is it that the chart does not include homicide? Has that always been the case?

Majority of homicides, all crimes by juveniles, and many sexual assaults were also retroactively removed from DataSF at the same time.

They started a new DB in 2018. Homicide removal seemed to coincide w/ a lack of prosecutions and juvenile arrests w/ the closing of juvenile hall. No one wants to have to explain violent crime stats related to minors.
