Look at the typical rhetoric from Shaw, Ronen, Mission Local, MEDA; they are all anti-@SFPD (law & order) & pro things that protect dealers/pimps. They are also pro-Prop C.

look at some of the older posts promoting a 'hamsterdam' in the TL. Well here it is 10 years later and much of SOMA, Mid Market and the Tenderloin is just that, a 'hamsterdam'http://beyondchron.org/guest-editorial-san-francisco-needs-a-hamsterdam/ …

Yes, but what’s been happening on the TL has been happening in one form or another for a century. What is different now is that as the city has grown more middle class people live there and have a different voice.

Do it. Make it a felony to deal drugs within 8 miles of it. Make it a felony to use outside. Let harm reduction people use funds to babysit. Cut the bullshit. Better use of money.

The
Failed War on OD Plan
Open 1 location, service 750 distinct clients / year, 100 of whom will OD & die someplace else during the year.
Use/possession throughout the 49 sq miles is de facto legalized now & won't change.
Reassess once there are 175 locations in the city.
