Tenderloin residents lacked access to open space before this crisis, which has only worsened Starting this week , the lawn at Boeddeker Park will be open from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m, w/ support for safety, so that residents can use the green space to support mental & physical health.

The Tenderloin Station will monitor the space to ensure the public can safely access the site to get their needed exercise and recreation while adhering to the public health recommendation on social distancing.

I’m confused. Your comrade @chesaboudin says not prosecuting crime and letting all the inmates out of jail makes us safer.
Chesa also recently said crime is down.
Why on earth do you now need a police station to monitor a park for safe access?
