Yesterday 12 May it was a very hot day in Subsahara Africa and Arabian Peninsula with temperatures above 45C. In Senegal 47.5C at Matam,45.0C also on the coast at Saint Louis and 44.4C at Nouakchott,Mauritania. In Chad 47C and May record again at Faya Largeau.
