Agreed. The US military would stand no chance against a domestic insurgencie. Logistics for the government would be surrounded everywhere making F-15’s and tanks useless. Any tech or equipment advantage would be neutralized

He's actually unknowingly making the case to allow citizens to carry more powerful weapons. The gap between a cannon and muzzleloader is far smaller than gap between an AR15 and F-15

Cannons. And ships with multiple cannons on them. It wasn't until WWI that the military started having better equipment.
