I think you know Aristotle better than this. The golden mean principle is the virtue between two vices. Considering fascism and Antifa two problems and finding a third way to approach social problems is a coherent thought.
A centrist is someone who looks at both sides of the political spectrum, and realizes that the truth lies somewhere in the middle. For example, we actually need to be a medium amount of racist.
