The only thing that I really love in this world is watching dogs who can almost play fetch, but not quite. Like they bring it back sometimes, but mostly they just hold the ball in their mouth confused as to why the game isn't continuing.
The best part, however, is watching the human who, having seen a successful fetch happen a few times, in perpetually convinced that the dog is on the verge of understanding. Then the dog drops the ball 40 feet away again and they walk over, hands in the air, totally exasperated.
One of my dogs happily runs after the ball I throw...then turns around and happily runs back without it. It's pretty cute 
Why should the dog work for the oppressor?
Or like my canine pal: goes to where ball landed, lays down and just chews on it in that spot.
