Nobody has mentioned villains but you. If someone does something as destructive and harmful as raping 50 women over decades, this deserves censure. It is not and cannot be tempered with his good deeds as though the women's pain is somehow ameliorated by them

We're all human, but sometimes our "mistakes" are so heinous that they should define us. Serial rapists aren't making "mistakes." Genocides aren't "mistakes." I know you mean well and I appreciate that, but we can recognize someone is human AND unforgivable at the same time.
