It's true, in our economy you can "vote with your wallet", all you have to do is buy millions of dollars in shares to become a major shareholder so you get to sit on the board.

Well, as a vegan, the community that I am in has managed to reduce meat and milk consumption substantially for the last 3 years as well as raise awareness for animal welfare, health and the environment. Most of it with our wallets. None of us are on any board of directors.
