It's almost like the modern Rothba-, I mean "Libertarian" movement was created to sell corporate domination to people who aren't particularly happy with war and draconian drug laws, but don't quite realize both things are perpetuated/exacerbated by big business.

IMHO there's a lot of types of libertarian, but the term's become very associated with people who seem to want to hand power to the already rich.

I think the core challenge of defining a libertarian model for a society is deciding what to do about giving people the liberty to take the liberty of others!

And if Socialists cared even slightly about "freedom" they would acknowledge the fact that "governments" exploit, enslave and murder far more people than the "evil companies" they demonize. The idea that politicians are more trustworthy than business owners is naive and dangerous

This is a great propaganda point, but doesn't change the fact that Stalin & Mao were ruthless dictators. Neither society was "socialist" in the modern sense, but keep on repeating this stuff b/c it supports the status quo belief that 0.1% should keep 90% of our economy's value.
