I hate reading philosophers talk about death. They all have this impulse to explain it away. There's nothing to explain, death is horrible. Get over it. Life isn't all that great either. happy friday btw.

It is best if you do not conflate the pain of death, with death itself. We all will die; that is not the fear. Best to embrace it, than to be afraid. It is the finish line for mortality. Make peace with it. It will be your final resting place.

The worst thing I can't stand is my grandmother who raised me, slowly die from alzeheimer's. I don't want her to die, at all. It really freaks me out, but I dont want her to suffer either.
