Everyone is so obsessed with Russian interference, but it's obvious our own corporate owned media had a far larger effect on the election. Why don't we first accuse billionaires and mega corporations of subverting our democracy?

Trump literally promised massive tax breaks to the people who own and control the media, and it's just about the only thing he's delivered on. If you want to understand why our democracy is non-functional, there is no need to look to Moscow.

Read Jane Mayer's book "Dark Money". The plutocrats spent 40 years capturing legislators, regulators, grooming voters...and then Trump hijacked their exploit to get himself elected. If voters notice and reject the capture, their 40 years of investment is blown.

i think these issues are both important for slightly different reasons but damn that's some truth. there's profit in establishing an antirussian narrative versus the media isnt about to bite the hand that feeds and risk losing corporate backing so its stifled

people dont really talk on a large scale about things that arent triggered by visible events or circulated by media. our biggest problems + threats arent watercooler debates at all
