Yesterday my Pandora played five songs in a ROW about shipwrecks and none of them were even The Wreck of the Edmond Fitzgerald.

Canadian folk music is my favorite genre. The songs are basically about one of three things: 1. Shipwrecks. 2. Growing old with your wife. 3. When the lake ice was thinner than you thought and your horse fell through.

My experience of English folk puts murder at number one, more often than not followed by an execution for murder. Less common is the unsolved murder. Mass murder by shipwreck is mainly limited to the folk of the South-West coastal regions.
