A "centrist" isn't someone who is "reasonable between to extremes", a centrist is someone who enthusiastically takes the side of existing power.

Well, one thing centrists are extreme at is getting mad online. More outrage over this tweet than any for a while. I guess that's what happens when your whole thing is to smugly put yourself above criticism while sucking up to power. Hard to take any criticism whatsoever.

A disappointing over simplification of people acknowledging the complexities and limitations of both sides of the political debate. I'm not smug, I can identify with elements of different political parties while finding that none of them completely represent my beliefs.
