People call socialism "extremism", but a system that allows a single individual to own and control the labor of millions seems much more extreme to me.

I’m all skeptical about “capitalism” and such but I feel like you’re assuming that our system is way more capitalist than it actually is. I also think you’re judging one side by its pros and the other side by its cons. Philosophy is about proving yourself wrong and seeing sides

Humans have experienced this form of totalitarianism for thousands of years. Despite the greek and roman examples, their ideals too fell to kings emperors and would be strong men. I have hope that we can wrest controlnof our system back from such a fate.
