The Democratic Party needs to demonstrate, via concrete actions, that it (a) puts the well-being of the citizenry ahead of maximizing corporate contributions, (b) has values it can clearly articulate and shamelessly champion, and (c) has more to offer than “Not Republicans”
Democrats trying to compromise: "okay we accept a corporate oligarchy runs everything, but we want to be able to say the word 'gay' " Republicans: "no" Democrats: "okay fine"
