The liberal solution was to regulate the internet but leave the power structure in place - in the hands of private profit seeking enterprise. This was always bound to fail because big business will forever try to reverse the law. Public ownership is the only permanent solution.

Comcast should be destroyed under privateering laws that were established in the 1790s. Never should they ever profit when a foriegn power is to gain. But, that would apply to all corps, so not gonna happen.
