If we all desire less, that'll be very convenient for the ppl who don't want to give us a pay rise, rights, an education, decent healthcare. But it won't be so good for the manufacturers, who will go bust. And then there'll be nothing to want.
There are two ways to satisfy human wants: aquire more, or desire less. One of the two directions terminates at infinity.
