There are a lot of stupid people with every political position, but based on my @ replies I can safely say libertarians are the stupidist.

Libertarian: "our philosophy is based on personal liberty" Freely organized Union: "we fight for more personal liberty" L: "Unions r evil!!"
It all makes a lot more sense once you grasp the unspoken rule of Libertarianism: "always take the side of the strong against the weak."

Perhaps a more charitable take, take the side of the individual over the collective. (Which benefits strong individuals.)
