Neoliberals get into politics to join the ranks of the elite, not to fight against them. They will never, ever work together with even mild socialists for any purpose.
This is true to any right wing group. They might complain about the oppression of the elite but that's because they themselves are not the elite.

Sure. But a simple consequentialist calculus will lead one to the conclusion that a Biden presidency is less harmful than a Trump presidency. The ultimate goal should be to shut down the GOP and declare the Democrats the new right.
Then the next step would be to set up a true left in the U.S. (since we don't currently have a viable left) in opposition to the Democrats.
