What the liberal establishment can't seem to grasp is there are real problems with the way the world is organized, and not just "we need to be more civil". If they continue to refuse to give solutions to the material problems of life, fascists will be more than happy give theirs.
Right now, as we speak, the economy is collapsing due to our institutions' inability to deal with putting the brakes on the economy for a few weeks to combat a pandemic. Liberals have no answer for this. Fascists do. Their plan is to blame China and gear up for war.
Instead of fighting against this, the liberal media has largely repeated fascist lies about China, and openly asked what we should do to "punish China". They do this because the real alternative, socialism, is always more terrifying than fascism for the ruling class.
Here's a tip: NO economy can survive "putting the brakes on the economy". Farmers not going out to harvest means no food. Factory workers not working in the factory means no manufactured products. Socialists apparently think that their economic systems run on magic...

Wait, whose inability to deal with what? I'd say that, across the western world, institutions are dealing with this crisis pretty much as well as you'd expect them to, which is to say: better than any other system of government would.
