It's really incredible how the very same people who willfully ignored the pandemic for months while China implemented the biggest quarantine in history and pleaded for other countries to take it as serious as them are now saying China somehow tricked them into not being prepared.
Were they using reverse psychology or something? Did they show us a template for successfully fighting the virus months before it reached the West, knowing that we would think it was a dastardly trick and therefore do the opposite??
A lot of politicians, incl Trump are using China as an excuse to cover up their own mistakes, which is wrong. That said, let us all admit that China's authoritarian system is fundamentally flawed and has always slowed down crucial 1st response as seen in both SARS and Covid19. 
Not this time. It's the fastest reaction in history. They learned from SARS, and created and implemented a *very* effective plan.
What's even crazier is that there are countries that looked at China and took precautions and it paid off for them, and yet if you tell people that, they'll still make excuses as to why China's the problem.
China really is the problem though. It’s where it all began.
