Rent is theft. Profit is theft. Interest is theft. Look, it isn't complicated. If you are making money that didn't come from your own labor, then it is coming from someone else's labor. You are stealing their money.

So, just to be clear, if I’ve earned everything, by working extra hours, weekends and saved by not going out, and limit my expenses at the cost of my own comfort and leisure; and then invested to have my own business, then buy property, and may be even lend money, am I a thief?

But the workers profit from their labor. That allows them to purchase goods and if they are thrifty to improve their lot in life. Even China has embraced that.

I have worked for several failed startups, and got a nice salary in each. Without profits to recoup such losses, why would investors invest in any startup?
