Getting word from my @ replies that the hospital was built authoritarianly and all those workers were building it against their will because they probably really wanted to make iPhones. But it's freedom to not let Americans use an empty building to treat the sick when they want.

we've become weak because we see any criticism of our country as un-American and take no efforts to improve it. jingoism is patriotism. And we've gotten away with it for a long, long time by coasting on the inertia of our time as a legitimate global hegemon.

And this is the reason healthcare should not be private in civilised societies. Healthcare is not something to be traded, it is a valuable service of each state to its citizens.

In capitalism everything is commodity. Your workforce is a commodity as well. Everything is bought and sold, healthcare is not an exception.
