I always get stupid @ replies, but when I tweet about landlords it's on another level. I can't believe some people have so little imagination they think if there were no landlords, we as a society wouldn't be able to figure out how to build housing or pay construction workers.

Meanwhile, in the society that we actually live in, housing prices have skyrocketed in the last thirty years while construction costs have remained relatively constant. Hmm...pic.twitter.com/Ypf2HRHBFJ

100% agreed, really pisses me off. Just like when doctors hold healthcare hostage in return for a salary. The world will be a better place without landlords, doctors, teachers, shops, and everyone else that demands money in return for things.

Librarians do not "provide" books. Print workers provide books. Librarians, in fact, do the opposite of providing books. They take the books that were made for people to read, hold them hostage, then charge late fees to those who don't return them on time.
