The reason Vietnam was able to so quickly and effectively deal with coronavirus is because they have this strange idea that the government, as well as industry, are there to serve the people. We fought a whole war to try to prevent this, but fortunately we got our asses kicked.
In American we have to ask questions like "but how much money will the sponsors lose if we cancel events to stop the spread of the coronavirus?" Civilized countries don't bother with questions like this.

I think it's more: how much money will we, a small business, have lost out on because OUR SPONSORS didn't make any money because we had to cancel due to Coronavirus. But, to be fair, most of those large sponsors can handle the hit.
