A lot of Elizabeth Warren voters will go to Biden, but not because Bernie fans are rude or whatever lie they'll invent. Many of her voters, largely property owning professional class white people, saw her as protecting them from a working class movement, not fighting for one.

Yeah, this ain't it. Sanders had 5 years to build a coalition, to create a movement to lead Dems out of the corporate wilderness. All he did was yell and then not deliver the youth vote. When the youngsters aren't showing up to vote, it's pretty obvious he can't win.

Also, when black and latinx voters are putting in for Biden in the numbers they just did, makes one think that Sanders ability to connect with the "working class" is limited to white working class.

Sorry, I think that's BS. Warren's fight against abusive lenders and the establishment of the CFPB is the most pro-poor and pro-working class thing to come out of govt. that I can think of in the last ~30 years or so.

Her whole project is attacking the notion that property validates contract law and aggregate utility trumps fairness. Instead, she assigns value to equity (as in fairness) rather than profitability alone. This is a direct attack on the market fundamentalism of the Chicago school

How can workers organize when there are no collective labour laws and unions have been systematically dismantled? When there is no right to strike and every individual employee is treated like an indépendant contractor who freely chose to sign on the dotted line?

Or, just a thought, we think she has similar policies to Bernie & would be more effective at getting them enacted.

I've had coworkers share opinions that confirm your take is correct for many warren supporters. One said she wouldn't vote for Sanders because he would reward "irresponsibility" and that Warren is "compassionate."
