It's rather shocking to see how many financially secure liberal feminists simply don't consider things like Universal Healthcare to be a feminist issue, because they themselves can't really imagine, say, having to choose between leaving an abusive husband and having healthcare.

This is the precise reason why I fully empathize with women of color (especially Black women) and broadly, poor women, who do not see themselves as feminists, despite many of them believing the essential feminist beliefs.

Many prominent platitudes of feminism are created and voiced solely by rich white women who seek their own social climbing path and to be able to be just as rich and powerful and untouchable as rich white men. It’s not feminism.
