It's completely paradoxical, but i don't believe it's a moral paradox because privilege in itself is not a bad thing, so long as it is recognized and used to lift those who do not share it.

I'm an admirer of Weil, who was a genuinely better thinker than the three philosophers depicted. That said, the adoption of austerity-principles has had terrible repercussions since at least Francis of Assisi. The point is to bring people TO the philosophers' table, not away
