Bourgeois democracy is democracy for the ruling class. There vested interests are protected and prioritised whichever candidates win they will win. That's why we see tax breaks for the rich while the healthcare system is in disarray and thrillions are spent on foreign wars

that's an incredibly poor take of the book. If you haven't read it, you should. If you have read it, you need to get some help to understand it (though I have a hard time imagining that to be the case)
