Be patient with the Iowa Caucus. One thing I learned from studying philosophy of mathematics is that it is almost impossible to count things up if there are more than 2 or 3 thousand of them, which explains their trouble.

Frege believed humans beings could never count higher than 10,000, but Kurt Gödel later showed that even for numbers as small as 500 things simply cannot be counted.

I can count to 1024 on my fingers. All fingers in - 0. Left pinky out - 1. Left ring finger out - 2. Left ring finger and pinky out - 3. Left middle finger out - 4. Left pinky and middle finger out - 5. etc.
