Whenever a philosopher comes up with a political theory that more or less amounts to "and that's why everything is basically fine the way it is", remember that philosophy books aren't written by the people working 80 hours a week to barely scrape by.

I genuinely think most philosophy is written by underpaid phd's and post docs working overtime trying to hold on to what amounts to 2 year max contracts. Get outta here with that pre-Marx divide between manual and intellectual labour.
