I do have a bit of problem with the word "TERF" just because most of the time these people aren't "radical feminists". Sure, they repeat mild liberal talking points, like women should be paid equally or whatever, before going on transphobic rants, but that's not radical feminism.
To act like someone's bigotry is motivated by some kind of radical commitment to revolutionary gender politics, when it's nothing more than hatred and personal disgust is a joke. It's the same tactic as conservatives hiding their Islamophobia with "but look how they treat women!"
In other words, people like J.K. Rowling aren't TERFs, she is just a plain old fashion bigot, who will gladly deny fundamental human rights out of hatred and ignorance. No need to dress it up with fancy words.
Should call them TEHF. As in Trans Exclusive Hatin' Females. I think it's a fit.

Are human rights organisations all Islamophobic then? All human rights organisations have criticised the record of countries under Islamic law as being pretty terrible for human rights.
