The landlord's dad was an immigrant who worked his tail off for his family's future ... then passed the fruits of his labor to them. Without the 'capitalists' the apartment complex would not exist.
capitalists are really out there claiming it is human nature to give a third of your salary to your landlord because he inherited an apartment complex from his dad, on account of how humans are...uh...selfish or something

That’s the problem with most political philosophy. It begins at the notion that ‘humans are selfish’ and we built entire frameworks from that false and weird assumption and premise. And still haven’t overcome it.
