It sounds so. And it sucks.
There is a ton of propaganda in the US, frequently in our history books. This is not a good example of it.
Lenin passed most the ‘positive’ changes for women such as divorce reforms, education and free childcare. they had very negative effects such as skyrocketing orgpanage rates into the insufficient childcare which was either brain washing or turned into effectively street gangs.
Also divorce reform really hurt women’s position since over 70% of divorces would be initiated by men for things such as unexpected pregnancy. It also meant that women were expected to fulfill both domestic and economic roles working 8 hour days and another 5 hours of home work
