". . . we [all] just decide", or ". . . we [each] just decide"? Big difference.

The most logical place for this to start is at work. We spend a third of our lives working but have little say on the most important aspects of our lives: how the company operates and how much we get paid. Democracy at Work!

you can do this right now by choosing to work at a co-op (or starting one on your own!)

I think many don't truly believe in democracy, i.e. self determination of the masses. We tend to have a pretty low opinion of "the people" (esp. OTHER p~). There's no trust and thus, ppl. rather remain in a state of childlike dependency. Another wonderful effect of capitalism.

American's love democracy right up until you point out the flaws in the electoral college and then they're all "America has never been and was never meant to be a real democracy and we don't want it."
