that’s the idea of a small basic universal income (yang), but the idea itself is rooted in social ownership and redistribution. it’s also unavoidable as we get more technologically advanced so im not sure why you are ripping on it

Agreed, universal income would help the most vulnerable people and open up career opportunities. It’s rooted in *livelihood* not inudtrialization, it’s unfortunately been coopted by Yang but IS a good thing.

Also, consider the fact that if taxes increase on supply chains then the companies selling their products are going to raise prices, making it more expensive to buy things, and diminishing your spending power. The value added tax is a tax on working people, not corporations.
