It's "free" in the sense that it's available for purchase rather than restricted by silly things like "facts" or "regulations"

I heard they were giving away free markets... I always wanted a market

Are you suggesting allowing the government to censor things, or just saying that it would be better if companies also weren’t allowed to, just as the govt isn’t allowed to? If the latter, eh. If the former, it seems to me that you trust the government too much.
-
neither. it's a joke. he's pointing out that "free speech" as in the gov. not being able to censor your when the corporations (like twitter) can censor you.... for one thing. then also that people are worried about govs rather than corps who have the power, just in general.

What we call Capitalism is actually Corporate Feudalism
-
Capitalism is just the private ownership the means of production. That's what we live in: people own, as private property, industry and natural resources. Feudalism is different. It would be better if industry and natural resources were democratically managed instead.

I guess the difference is that if you had government censorship and no free speech you would be arrested for saying what you just said.
-
he's not saying he doesn't have free speech in that sense, but he's saying that it's irrelvant regarding where the real source of power lies

Big businesses don't use violence to enforce their censorship. Also, no business has a monopoly on the media. Anyone is free to start their own media org and say pretty much whatever they want. Try that in a country with censorship and see what happens.
-
Mass media are a monopoly of the rich. So only the point of view of the rich has massive reach.
