Amazingly, "I can't do comedy anymore because everyone is too sensitive" almost always seems to actually mean "I can't do comedy anymore because I'm too sensitive." They can still make their movies and have them be successful, they just can't stand to hear any criticism.

I really feel there is an audience for comedy from a Marxist perspective. And it will make the normal edgy comics look like pathetic moderates. I like to think this justifies me getting drunk and defending Stalin on a regular basis.

Definitely disagree. Sensitivity and meticulous surveillance against what some may "perceive" as sexism, homophobia, inciting hate, bigotry, etc. have never been stronger, at least in film history which I'm kind of familiar with. And the way I see it, shit's only getting harder.
