Getting mad at congress for not addressing climate change is like getting mad at your boss for making you work weekends. Yeah, he's a dick, but much like congress he's just a middle manager following the orders of where real power lies: wealth.

Congress (and judges & executive) had their role in making rich people super rich. I think Marx wrote about Capitalist Govt not being mere neutral. Corporate Law and "person" rights for starters. Lax enforcement of laws and regs. Less penalties for fin fraud than weed.
