The big mistake men make these days is to think the phrase "to be a man" is the opposite of "to be a woman", but becoming a man has always been about growing up, putting others first, and taking on responsibilities. Distinguishing yourself from women won't make you an adult.

To me this is similar to those times in sports, politics , etc when people say "he's a MAN!". They're not saying man, as opposed to a woman. They're saying man as opposed to boy. The defining characteristic of a man is that he's matured and sees a larger picture and can do more.
