I don’t think it’s even ultimately about money, it’s about the exalted status as one of the elect and worthy that money confers. you’re strong and others are weak and you find yourself hating them for their weakness and wanting even more to put them in their place

Bolsonaro is destroying the country. There will be nothing left by the end of his term. We lost our pensions system, he obliterated the remaining workers rights, he’s burning the Amazon, will privatize the mail, and is destroying public universities (we have public education)
