The irony is that this sounds like Rorschach even though the core of his character is Randian nonsense which should put him completely at odds with Kant but I digress

Also I feel like the utilitarian villain resonates because it’s really easy to find real life examples of the rationale like Steven Pinker’s Progress Graphs, or just any defense of capitalism that depends on obtuse metrics while they hoard wealth and the planet burns or whatever
