He don't convince people to consider him an intellectual. The people/followers themselves are the judge of his thoughts.

I don't doubt that JP, although a reactionnary, has a knowledge of psychology that far surpasses my own. The problem is when people start to listen to him when he talks about shit he knows nothing about, like art, politics, or history.
