The fact that Americans have all been told that the Nazis are the bad guys from a young age is one of the main causes of boomer brain rot. Racist Americans just can't reconcile this with the fact that they more or less agree with the Nazi platform.

In the US, Boomers were the last upwardly mobile generation and the richest. Politically they tend to range from conservative to center left. The stereotypes may be unfair, but the resentment is real.
