The Soviet Union: goes from a backwards agrarian society to the Space Age in 50 years, while almost single-handedly defeating the Nazis. The American educational system: "communism doesn't work because people will be lazy and not bother to accomplish anything."

Actively collaborating with Nazi Germany up until the moment they stab you in the back, and still being in denial of it for weeks after the fact is the real anti fascism.

Stalin didn’t “actively collaborate with Nazi Germany”. The temporary non-aggression treaty was necessary to protect the USSR long enough for them to be 100% ready to repel the coming invasion. The Nazis got within 20 miles of Moscow. I’d say every minute of preparation counted.
