Yes, it is unfair to the people who paid off their student loans to cancel everyone's debt now. Also…we shouldn't educate young people at all, it would be unfair to the old people who had to go through their entire lives ignorant as shit.

the fair thing to do would be to totally dissolve student loans companies and return their wealth to the people they stole it from but somehow i doubt this is what centrists have in mind when they make this complaint
