Wow so I guess conservatives are really going with "the TRUE lesson of the Holocaust is to shut up about it when minorities are thrown into camps next time". Okay then...I guess that's where we are at.

Not only are these camps for immigrants obviously "concentration camps", but what people really don't want to say out loud is their purpose: ethnic cleansing (via deportation). These aren't white Canadians being held. And yes, there are many illegal white Canadians in the USA.

Take a look at the stats for estimates of where most illegal immigrants come from, and how many ICE deported. I added the percentage of each group deported in 2018. People from Hispanic countries were mysteriously deported at 23 times the rate of non-Hispanic countries.pic.twitter.com/ioASJGjRXw

The only illegal immigrant I knew personally, socialized with etc. was a neighbor who was also a white Canadian undocumented immigrant. Go figure.

Also, the US really needs to look into its system of public (re) education camps. Non-voluntary and 10's of millions of children affected every year. Only the richest members of society can buy their way into slightly better, more private accomedations.
