You almost make it sound as though the fact that like 99% of all human communication is facilitated by corporate-owned infrastructure is somehow a problem.
One point that people often ignore in the debate about why social media platforms allow so much hate speech is that it would cost money to hire moderators to remove it. High minded arguments about "free speech" or "stopping hate" are pointless when profit ultimately decides.
